Beneath a sunlit garden, the colony grows one layer at a time. You dig chambers and upgrade them: a granary that gathers leaves and raises storage, a nursery, a cistern, a fungus garden, barracks, a crystal mine, a pheromone chamber and a porter hall. Workers carry leaves and water through the tunnels, the queen lays eggs, and the brood hatches as the days and seasons turn. Assigning workers to each chamber decides how fast the colony grows.

Beyond the nest, ants go on expeditions into illustrated biomes such as the Garden Path and the Rotten Log, and you steer a short run on the way, grabbing gates and avoiding hazards. Later, a young queen can fly off to found a new colony at a new nest site, each with its own landscape and rules, and a Dynasty bonus carries over with no ceiling.

The game is calm by design: no timers pushing you and no paywall, and the colony greets you with a summary when you return. Reward videos play only when you choose them, there are no pop-up ads or banners, and purchases such as crystal packs, the Founder's Pack and the Royal Seal are optional. Cloud backup and a recovery code protect the colony, and the backup can be turned off at any time.
