A calm watercolor logic puzzle: release every koi into the river
Koi Drift: Zen Koi Puzzle is a calm logic puzzle game by Rui Codex for Android, painted in a watercolor style. Every pond is checked solvable, and each season introduces a new river rule.
No timers, no lives and no fail screens; undo and restart are always free and unlimited.
Long-press any koi to see where it will swim.
A new pond every day, with three days to catch up and keep the streak.
A giant koi waits at the end of each season and rises as an ink dragon when freed.
Kohaku, Showa, Asagi, Ogon and more, collected in a hanging-scroll album.
Progress stays on the device, and the only video is an optional one for a hint.
Every pond is a small logic puzzle painted in watercolor on washi paper. Each koi can only swim the way it faces. Tap one whose path is clear and it glides out of the pond, leaving rings on the water; tap one whose path is blocked and it bumps softly and swims back, with no penalty. The task is to read the pond and find the order that frees every koi, ending with the last one rushing out in a shimmering chain.
The game has 400 ponds across eight river seasons, and every season adds a rule: lotus gates that open and close with each koi, frogs on lily pads, leaf eddies that turn a path, frozen koi that thaw and turtles that turn instead of bumping. At the end of each season waits the Nushi, an ancient giant koi. Clearing ponds restores the river on the home screen, bringing back lanterns, bridges and a heron.
Koi Drift is built for calm: no timers, no lives and no fail screens, with long-press path previews and unlimited undo and restart. A new Morning Pond arrives every day, and a Lantern Festival runs in the first week of every month. Four seasons and 200 ponds are free; one-time purchases add season packs or unlimited hints, and there are no interstitial or banner ads.
Players who want a quiet, thoughtful puzzle without timers, and anyone who enjoys koi ponds, Japanese gardens and logic games.
