About All Document Reader

All Document Reader does the job most people need from an office suite: opening a file and reading it. PDF contracts, Word reports, Excel and CSV sheets, PowerPoint decks and text, Markdown, JSON, XML or log files all open in the same app, from its own file list or straight from a file manager, e-mail or messaging app through Open with. The home screen starts with what matters: continue where you stopped, documents that are new since your last visit, recent files and favourites.

Each format is shown the way it was written. Spreadsheets keep their tabs and formatting, slides can be browsed with a thumbnail strip, and Word files keep their headings, lists and tables. You can search your documents by name, search inside the open document with highlighted results, star the files you use often and pick up at the remembered reading position. A Tools section adds everyday PDF jobs: merging PDFs, turning photos into a PDF, copying the text out of a PDF, extracting, rotating or deleting pages and making a PDF from a text or Markdown file.

Documents never leave the device, and reading works completely offline. A weekly reading report of documents read, reading time, formats and streak is kept on the phone too. Reading is free and never limited; the free version shows ads and sends usage statistics, never documents. Premium is optional and adds no ads, reading themes and text size, night reading for PDFs, the full reading report and every ink colour, as a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial, a monthly plan, a one-time lifetime purchase or simply Remove ads.
